Both bus and railway station, as well as the maritime terminal, are situated in the very centre. The city hotels and hostels are easily reachable on foot from all these points.
Once you settle in and decide to go sightseeing, you can also do it on foot. Nearby you’ll find museums, galleries, city beaches, the Molo Longo sea promenade, restaurants, night life... Don’t be discouraged by the numerous uphills that start from the city centre. In only a few minutes, the will take you to interesting parts of the city with unforgettable views of the bay. We recommend taking a walk to Trsat by climbing the Petar Kružić Steps, built in 1531, or to the beaches of Pećine or Kantrida. In the heart of the city, by the sea, there is a waterfront transformed into a 2-kilometre long Molo Longo promenade.
The guides from the Association of Tourist Guides of Kvarner are also at your service. Their knowledge and experience will make your walk along Rijeka into an interesting event.
