The travelling exhibition “Being a Refugee – a European Narrative” will dock at the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral in March. The exhibition is part of the eponymous EU project involving the collaboration of 5 museums – the Vienna Museum, the Museum of Contemporary History in Ljubljana, the Museum of Central Bosnia in Tuzla, the Museum of Vojvodina in Novi Sad and the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral in Rijeka. The Being a Refugee project deals with refugee life in 20th century Europe. The Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral will participate in the exhibition with three items that refer to refugee life after WWI, during WWII and during the Croatian War for Independence.

The documentary “I Am Nobody”, which features asylum seekers in the Republic of Croatia, will be screened on 5 March as part of the opening programme of the exhibition, which ends on 4 April.
